CHAIRMAN’S COLUMN

This month we welcomed a new WI into the Federation. Hagworthingham & District WI will be meeting on the first Tuesday of the month at the beautiful setting of Stockwith Mill. We wish them every success – and I know you will all give them your support.

Talking of support, that is the main role of our WI advisers.
Sadly, two of our advisers will be stepping down this year – Sue Bradley and Kathy Crust. Both have volunteered a vast amount of time to this important role within the federation and their assistance has been invaluable. We thank them both for everything they have done.

Next March we will be saying goodbye to another important member of the federation team – our federation secretary Sue Bain, who has decided to retire (needless to say, it is early retirement!). Therefore, we will shortly be advertising for a new federation secretary.

We are grateful to Sue for giving us such long notice on her decision and are pleased to say she will be with us for our annual meeting in Skegness on March 29, when the new term of office for federation trustees will also begin.

As always, take care
Dianne
Chairman of Lincolnshire North Federation of WIs
